It¡¯s a medium-sized city!  Not too big, not too small.  You get many of the benefits of a large city such as sports teams, cultural richness and excellent schools without the problems of high crime, traffic and pollution.  The Korean community of about 3,000 people is large enough to support Korean churches, groceries and restaurants, yet you don¡¯t have the worries that often arise in big city Korean communities.

It¡¯s a great place to live!  Cincinnati is consistently ranked as a great place to live in the U.S.  Excellent public schools, low housing costs, cultural richness, recreational facilities, low crime rate, accessibility are just a few of the reasons Cincinnati is a wonderful place to make a home.

It¡¯s a good place to do business!  In a survey of Business Week and Fortune, Cincinnati is always among the highest ranked places in which to do business.  Cincinnati is an easily accessible location in the United States¡¦ in fact, Cincinnati is within an 800 mile radius of almost 60% of the United States¡¯ population.  Cincinnati has a highly educated labor force, education system and cultural conditioning that offers an ideal condition of enterprise and commerce.  It is no coincidence that eight of the great Fortune 500 companies including Procter & Gamble, Kroger and Federated Department Stores are located here in the city.  In addition, many Fortune 500 companies including GE Aircraft, Ford, GM and Toyota have important divisions in Cincinnati.

Cincinnati is a conservative city!  Cincinnati was originally founded a German immigrant city.  Today, a great deal of the German culture can be found.  In fact, Cincinnati hosts the 2nd largest Oktoberfest celebration in the world second only to that of Germany!  This German heritage is one of the major contributors of the conservative culture of Cincinnati.  The city¡¯s conservativism does not always produce positive results, but is no doubt a merit educationally for our 2nd generation.
